National Rankings: March 2025
For the first time since April 2024, there has been a change at the top of the women’s rankings following the latest National Rankings Update from March, with the men’s top five remaining the same with some positional changes.
It was in May last year that Dawn Hayman ascended to the summit of the mountain but after dropping points the Right at Home Jackaroo finds herself in seventh place with Canada’s Kelly McKerihen taking the mantle as the number one player in Australia following a successful Victorian Open.
McKerihen boasts a measly one-point advantage over Western Australia’s Kristina Krstic, who retains her spot in second with her former Australian teammate Chloe Stewart up one place in third.
Ten points adrift of Stewart in fourth is Kelsey Cottrell, while reigning Australian Open women’s singles champion Laura Butler finds herself in fifth place.

Reigning Bowls Australia Male Bowler of the Year Josh Walker-Davis has maintained his hold on the number one ranking, however his margin of 77 points has been cut dramatically to just eight.
Gary Kelly sits in second place as the race to the end of June heats up, with his Warilla teammate in Corey Wedlock only six points behind in third.
Retaining his place in fourth is New South Wales’ Jack McShane, who sits 53 points behind Wedlock with his newly named Lion Cup teammate Kane Nelson keeping his hold on fifth.

Note for all ranked players: Please check the spelling of your names and confirm the state you are registered to as to ensure records are kept up to date and accurate. Similar names with possible misspelling can result in players not being allocated the full amount of points. Email rankings@bowls.com.au for any rankings enquiries.
