Australian Indoor Champs draws released

The draws for next month’s Australian Indoor Championships, to be staged at Tweed Heads Bowls Club from August 20 to 23, have been released. The draws for next month’s Australian Indoor Championships have been released.

The $30,000 prize-money event returns to Tweed Heads Bowls Club from August 20 to 23, and the match-ups for all competitors have now been made public.

A number of tantalising first-round matches have been locked in place, including Queensland’s Adele Pershouse against New Zealand spearhead Val Smith (10.00am), Western Australia’s Clive Adams against former state teammate turned Victorian Matt Ellul (12.00pm), Canadian international Kelly McKerihen against NSW’s Natalie Noronha (2.00pm), and NSW’s Ray Pearse against Queensland’s Alex Murtagh (4.00pm).

There will be more than just prize-money on the line again this year, with 90 ranking points awarded to the winners, in addition to a golden ticket to contest the 2019 World Cup at Warilla. 

The Australian Indoor Championships commence on Monday, August 20 at 8:00am, with the final matches on day one commencing at from 6:00pm.

This year marks the 31st staging of the men’s competition, and 15th occurrence of the women’s event.
