BPL Cup national finalists locked in for Moama
After months of qualifying events and a change of venue, the 2020 BPL Cup National Finals are nearly here, with the finalists now locked in.
The last of the state finals concluded at the weekend, with each state and territory’s representatives now confirmed to compete concurrently with #BPL12 at Moama in late February.
Soldiers Point, Grenfell and Port City all qualified from NSW, with Kings Meadows advancing from Tasmania.
Victoria’s Ocean Grove will make it back-to-back national finals appearances, with East Shepparton and Vermont South also progressing.
Qualifiers from ACT, Northern Territory, Queensland and South Australia have previously been confirmed.
Doubleview, Cambridge and Kardinya won their way through from Western Australia, but due to COVID restrictions and border uncertainty, they will compete at the 2021 BPL Cup played in November at BPL14 at Club Pine Rivers.
The national BPL Cup finalist teams receive an all-expenses-paid trip to compete in the BPL Cup National Finals, with the final broadcast LIVE on Fox Sports and Kayo Sports. The national finals will take place from February 21-25.
With the 2020 instalment of the BPL Cup nearly complete, attention will quickly turn to this year’s event.

This year’s BPL Cup will feature some of the top grassroots bowlers in the country, who will also be rubbing shoulders with some household names of the sport at the national finals.
#BPL12 competitors Matt Flapper and Ryan Bester will compete for their respective clubs, while new Emerging Jackaroo Nathan Black will represent West Lakes and Commonwealth Games gold medallist and Half of Fame member Rob Parrella will be part of a competitive field of players and teams.
