BPL20: Day 2 recap
The Geelong Jets have soared to the top of the table after the conclusion of the second day of play at BPL20 from the City of Moreton Bay’s Club Pine Rivers.
The battle of the two new teams capped off the night’s broadcast action, with the Jets propelling themselves to pole position after 10 of the 22 rounds, with a one game buffer over next best Sydney Lions and third placed Geelong Jets.
Tasmania Tridents and Moama Steamers round out the top five, with a log jam of contenders hot on their heels.
Moreton Bay Pirates, Gold Coast Hawks and Melbourne Pulse join the Tridents and Steamers on an even five wins from ten starts.
Separating fourth placed Tridents and seventh placed Hawks is just two net set points.
Competition commences again tomorrow morning from 9am AEST for round 11, with live-streaming occurring across five rounds right through the conclusion of the 2.45pm round 15 match, before broadcast commences at 4pm on Fox Sports, Kayo and Sky Sport NZ.
BPL20 runs from November 11-15, 2024, at Club Pine Rivers with live-streaming on Bowls Australia’s YouTube channel, as well as live broadcasts from Tuesday to Friday from 4pm until 10pm AEST on Fox, Kayo and Sky Sports NZ.
