National Rankings – February 2022
The National Player Rankings has seen a slew of movement in February, with new names featuring towards the top.
The women’s rankings have shifted significantly, with Northern Territory’s Colleen Orr usurping reigning Female Bowler of the Year, Dawn Hayman.
It is the first time Hayman has slipped from top spot since May 2021.
Many NSW bowlers have seen drops in points, with their championships taking place in February 2021, but not until April/May this year.
West Australians Laura Merz, Hailey Packer & Lisa Featherby sit within four points of Orr, while NT’s Sez James rounds out the top five.
Corey Wedlock’s stronghold on the men’s top spot continued for another month, with Victorian Thor Shannon edging his way to second place.
Queenslanders Nick Cahill and Jacob Nelson, as well as Victorian Colin Veenendaal remain towards the top of the rankings too.
