National Rankings – July 2023
The first month of the new calendar has concluded with no change at the helm of the men’s or women’s rankings following an action packed July.
The men’s update sees Queensland’s Aron Sherriff retain his place in first, with his Right at Home Jackaroo and World Bowls Championships teammate Corey Wedlock breathing down his neck in second.
Wedlock has cut the margin to Sherriff from 66 to a measly three, putting the pressure on the latter to defend his Australian Indoor Championships title next week.
Retaining his spot in third is Tasmania’s Josh Walker Davis, with the Nelson brothers of Jacob and Kane rounding out the top quintet and retaining their places.

The women’s rankings see Australian Open conqueror Cassandra Millerick remain on the highest rung of the ladder ahead of Jackaroo Kelsey Cottrell in second.
English World Champion Ellen Falkner has skyrocketed up to third place following a sensational month, capped off by the pairs and fours title at the New South Wales state championships.
Following in fourth is Australian representative Natasha Van Eldik who, like Falkner, enjoyed a scintillating week at New South Wales’ showpiece event where the Raymond Terrace product would take home the women’s triples crown and finish as the runner up in the singles.
Victoria’s Olivia Cartwright rounds out the top five.
