National Rankings: June 2026

by Val Febbo on July 2, 2026

The 2025/26 National Rankings year has come to a close, with Corey Wedlock and Olivia Cartwright finishing the period as the Bowls Australia’s tournament ranking players of the year.

Wedlock has become the first male bowler to retain his number one position since Ryan Bester achieved the feat back in 2015/16.

The recently crowned Australian Open Player of the Tournament finished a whopping 209 points ahead of Josh Walker-Davis in second, with Gary Kelly a further 43 back in third.

Following a splendid June, Jay Bye-Norris has leapt back into the top five with a gap of 13 points to Kelly, while Western Australia’s Daniel Trewhella keeps his place in fifth.

The women’s rankings sees Victoria’s Cartwright hold off a fast finishing Jamie-Lee Worsnop following her incredible Australian Open campaign.

Cartwright would finish 14 points ahead of her Jackaroos teammate, with Cass Millerick a further 25 adrift in third.

New South Wales’ Brianna Smith has jumped up into fourth place with young star Chanel Chakouch making her first foray into the national top five thanks to her brilliant month.
