National Rankings: May 2026
There has been no change at the helm of the women’s or men’s ranks, but movement surrounding the top following the latest National Player Rankings update after a busy May with the race to the Australian Open intensifying.
The men’s tally sees Corey Wedlock retaining his number one position and continuing his streak on top of the mountain.
His lead over Josh Walker-Davis has increased from 89 to 99 points, an enormous buffer that reinforces his dominance at the head of the table.
Kane Nelson has retained his place in third, a further 27 points behind Walker-Davis, with Gary Kelly a further 32 points back in fourth.
Daniel Trewhella has jumped into the top five.
The women’s rankings sees Victorian Jackaroo Olivia Cartwright maintain a large deficit over second place in the form of New South Wales’ Dawn Hayman, who is up one place from April.
Queensland’s Kelsey Cottrell moves down to third, a further 30 points back from Hayman.
Western Australia’s Lisa Featherby has leapt into the top five following a string of positive results across the past month, while the ACT’s Chloe Morrison has also enjoyed a positive move into the top quintet.

The National Rankings System operates on a yearly rolling-points system, where all points accrued are retained for a 12-month period and are then discounted. Players can accrue ranking points from all national events, State Championships, State Champion of Champion and selected club events.
